Designation: The construction 1×19 stands for a wire rope/strand consisting of 19 wires.

Properties: A wire rope of this construction is very strong, not very flexible and has low elongation.

Application: This wire rope construction is used, for example, for bracing or for railings and handrails.

Material: We manufacture the rope from high-quality galvanized steel and stainless steel.

Versions at Hamburger Drahtseilerei: In addition to our galvanized and stainless steel versions, we offer the 1×19 design with coating and/or end fittings.

1×19 construction cables are characterized by their high tensile strength and particularly smooth surface, making them suitable for both delicate designs and robust tensioning systems, e.g. for gaps in railings or (suspended) bridges. The rope construction has an elegant appearance, has excellent corrosion resistance thanks to stainless steel and remains very dimensionally stable even under heavy use and various weather conditions.  We stock 1×19 railing ropes in diameters from 1 mm to 10 mm.
